Gallery I. Randy Garber: “Listening.” Garber investigates the complexity of perception and how meaning is deciphered in her prints and large-scale installations. Hearing impaired since infancy, Garber’s work posits visual equivalents for the way distance and volume affect apprehension. Gallery II: Linda Klein: “The Mind of Winter.” For these new paintings, Klein draws inspiration from the poem “The Snow Man” by Wallace Stevens: "One must have a mind of winter/ To regard the frost and the boughs/ Of the pine-trees crusted with snow."
