    Darrell Scott is an award-winning songwriter of depth and perception, and a versatile instrumentalist. Born into a musical family, Darrell began sharpening his skills as a lyricists and abilities on guitars and banjos at a young age. Entertainment Tonight raves about Darrell and his "powerful songwriting, passionate vocals and masterful picking." With the release of his debut CD in 1997, Darrell's original songs were much in demand by singers looking for more than "big hat" bragging or slick country-pop. His compositions became highlights of albums by Garth Brooks, Faith Hill, and even his mentor,Guy Clark. was named Songwriter of the Year by the Nashville Songwriters Association International, in 2001 & 2002 and launced his own label, Full Light Records. http://www.darrellscott.com/index.php
