You have seen him on public television, now see Andre Rieu and His Johann Strauss Orchestra live and in person when they return to Agganis Arena this Summer! André Rieu, the Dutch violinist virtuoso and conductor of the Johann Strauss Orchestra, was born in Maastricht, Holland in 1950 into a very musical family. With over 30 albums under his belt, Andre Rieu is known for creating a festive atmosphere at his performances and tends to encourage his audiences to enjoy the music by getting out of their seats and waltzing in the aisles.
