    After years of speculation, one of the most influential bands of the indie rock movement of the early 90s is returning to the stage with the lineup of Mark Ibold, Scott "Spiral Stairs" Kannberg, Stephen Malkmus, Bob Nastanovich and Steve West reuniting for dates around the world in 2010. Pavement is known for its clever lyrics and dedication to the American rock underground. While the group’s sound has evolved since its grungier beginnings to encompass a ‘cleaner’ sound, Pavement has maintained a consistent fan base over the years. They are beloved for their individuality and for their role in shaping the course of indie rock, helping define the movement with their quirky, unpredictable, and fun-loving style.
