Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, a contemporary company with an unwavering commitment to classical dance, spins a tantalizing web of movement by using innovative choreography and dancing with the heart of a chameleon. These sleek, facile dancers have a flair for eclectic works requiring balletic brilliance. They are a tonic you may not have known you needed—in short, a refreshing surprise. “A twinge of wonderment that might charm the most cynical of New York dance fans … They raise the bar, and then they jump over it.” —The New York Times “This is a model of what a small classic company should be.” —Dance Magazine

I think the music is even more important than some dancers. I saw one modern ballet in Australia and the music was terrible. Insensitive somehow. The dancing was exceptional.
