Part one of the Elma Lewis series drew upon the experiences of her former students and their memories of her instruction and drive. In this follow up, E. Barry Gaither, Director of the Museum of the National Center of Afro-American Artists (NCAAA), will provide a detailed history of Elma Lewis and the institutions she created: the NCAAA, Playhouse in the Park, and the holiday production Black Nativity. Haley House Bakery Cafe, 12 Dade St Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
