The American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater Institute for Advanced Theater Training presents the last production of the 2009-10 season, A History of American Film by Christopher Durang, directed by Thomas Derrah, and performed by the Institute Class of 2010. The production is presented in the Experimental Theater of the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, Harvard Square, Cambridge.

Poor orphan Loretta Moran finds herself as the accidental tour guide through a technicolor odyssey of American films where no movie is safe from satire. Joined by instantly recognizable archetypes such as the tough guy and the wisecracking broad, Loretta bumbles her way through history, musical numbers, and Hollywood-gone-haywire.
