Angela Sawyer (of Cambridge’s Weirdo Records) will guide you through the most extreme vocal techniques of modern times, both accidental & virtuoso. Be one of the first 30 attendees to receive a free CD containing every song in the set! And even some that aren’t! You’ll hear 78s from the late 20s, wailing free jazz records from the late 60s, avant classical from the 50s & 60s, heavy metal from the mid 80s, funk screams from the early 70s, hot scatting from the 40s. Foreign languages, wild babbling, screeches you’re sure came from strangled cats. You’ll hear eefin’, whistle registers, burp-talking, animal impressions, sound poetry, nasal whines, vocal drag, scat, yodels, gargles, overtones, screams and all sortsa hoots.
