Landscapes: Real and Imagined. Artists' Reception Featuring Photographer Eric Roth and Artist Stephen Silver. Come get swept away far beyond ordinary shores into extraordinary scenes that take you from the wild sea grasses of New England to the ethereal mountain tops of other worlds. Landscapes: Real and Imagined is an art show for the explorer in everyone. Eric Roth's artistic photographs are brimming with color , life, strength and vitality. Stephen Silver's elegant oil paintings offer mysterious "above it all" places of quiet reflection and repose. Landscapes: Real and Imagined is an art show that is both exciting and to your mind and refreshing to your soul. Eric Roth is a native of West Newton, graduate of University of Connecticut and resident of Topsfield, MA who has spent thirty years in the field of photography breaking the barriers of convention to create images of unique and lasting beauty. Stephen Silver is a native of New York and graduate of Carnegie Mellon University who has studied at the Museum of Fine Arts School and with artist Tom Ouellette. From his studio in the South End, Stephen specializes in creating paintings that are abstract expressions of inner emotions with a sense of place and mystery. This Back Bay resident is founder of the SOWA Artists' Guild.
