"Boston Neighborhood Retrospective" Photography Exhibit
Presented by Boston Photography Center
July 7, 2010
The Neighborhood Project is a collaborative initiative of Boston Photography Center members to document the unique neighborhoods of the metropolitan Boston area: their people, their places, and their personalities that enrich our sense of community and give us our identity. We are using documentary photography to tell the stories of "who we are" in more than 15 metro neighborhoods. Our upcoming exhibit at the Honan-Allston Library will feature several of the neighborhoods including Allston, Brookline, the North End, the Theatre District, the South End, Roxbury, and Chinatown. The complete project can be seen on our website, http://www.bostonphotographycenter.com/neighborhood Event listing photo by Jim Fitts, taken at Boston Boxing and Fitness.
