Art in Bloom Exhibit Closing Party (FREE)

The exhibit at 20 Chestnut Hill Ave., Brighton Center, includes a horticultural, gardening and green space theme from the 19th century to the 21st century as interpreted by 8 established contemporary artists. The exhibit, includes 75 paintings, sculptures and floral arrangements as well as many historical items from the Museum's own collection as well as from the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. Also included is a slideshow from the Brighton Garden & Horticultural Society and materials from the Allston-Brighton Community Development Corporation's Greening projects. The artists include Julie Hom-Mandell, John McCarthy, Pat O'Brien, Shelley Reed, Kathryn Sanfilippo, Barbara Sawin, Maggie Schmidt, and Phillip Spinks. The Floral displays are from Amanda's Flowers, B&G Sawin Florist, KaBloom of Brighton, Mahoney's Garden Center, and Minihane's Flower and Gift Shop.
