Brad Garrett started out at various improv clubs in Los Angeles. In 1984, after becoming the grand champion winner in the comedy category of Star Search, he became one of the youngest comedians to perform on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson at the age of 23. His appearance on Carson brought Garrett so much attention that he was soon opening for Diana Ross, Liza Minnelli, Frank Sinatra, David Copperfield and the Beach Boys. After achieving a strong measure of success with stand-up comedy, Garrett decided to try his luck with performing on TV. He soon won the role of Ray Romano's brother, Robert Barone, on the long-running comedy hit, Everybody Loves Raymond. Garrett's distinctive deep voice has landed him prolific work as a voice actor. A few of his voice credits include A Bug’s Life, Finding Nemo and Ratatouille. His role on Everybody Loves Raymond won him five Emmy nominations and the 2002, 2003 and 2005 Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy. In 2006, Fox network announced they would pick up a new sitcom called 'Til Death starring Brad Garrett in the lead role.
