    Peter Sykes performs keyboard works of J.S. Bach and his contemporaries. One of today's most distinguished and versatile keyboard artists, Mr. Sykes appears throughout the United States and Europe in concerts, festivals and conventions. He has performed with such groups as Musica Antiqua Koeln, The King's Noyse, and Ensemble Project Ars Nova. He participated in Boston Early Music Festival's productions of Cavalli's Ercole Amante, Lully's Thesee, and Conradi's Ariadne, and performs regularly with Boston Baroque. Mr. Sykes was the 1993 laureate of the Erwin Bodky Award for excellence in early music performance. He is on the faculties of the Longy School of Music and the New England Conservatory, and is Chair of the Historical Performance department at Boston University.
