Goli is duo of misfit classical musicians with an appetite for world music that has cut its teeth in rock bands, world folk ensembles, symphony orchestras and the occasional free improv outlet. They would also be considered chamber music for the modern era. Featuring... Sarah Rabdau is carving out a niche that transcends scenes and sub-genres. Rabdau and Self-Employed Assassins have shared bills with Nicole Atkins and the Sea, Winterpills, and HUMANWINE. The band now looks forward to supporting the album, bringing its energetic live show to dark halls throughout the United States and beyond. Nohow On are architects of a unique sound they describe as Garage Folk, the members of Nohow On draw upon a diverse range of traditional and contemporary influences, from Sacred Harp singing and West African griot music to Bob Dylan and Neutral Milk Hotel. The band juggles an eclectic array of instruments and vocal parts in its live show, weaving world-weary lyrics around sweet melodies, forceful harmonies and unorthodox arrangements.
