When a Jewish lawyer is assigned to defend a young skinhead accused of brutally killing an immigrant man, he must alter his preconceived notion of humanity in order to discover forgiveness. In this New England Premiere, David Gow dares audiences to examine their capacity for compassion and asks, is there atonement for all crimes?

      I just saw Cherry Docs yesterday and it was one of the most piercing analysis of the connection between hate and love I have ever seen on stage. The actors personified those emotions marvelously... Expand

      I just saw Cherry Docs yesterday and it was one of the most piercing analysis of the connection between hate and love I have ever seen on stage. The actors personified those emotions marvelously and kept me on edge for the entire performance. The play was economically written with every word thoughtfully crafted. It was an important play for me to see and think about and is particularly well suited for high school and young adult audiences. I hope the play has a return engagement in the area for others to see, and that we will be able to see these wonderful actors perform in other works in the area. I think they did a masterful job in what must have been an exhausting performance. Collapse

      The play had an important and powerful message. However, there were too many things going on which detracted from the message, including: banging and yelling and stomping, which did not add to the... Expand

      The play had an important and powerful message. However, there were too many things going on which detracted from the message, including: banging and yelling and stomping, which did not add to the message or the actors' performance. Also the discussion following the performance added to my ability to appreciate the play's message and to understand the actors' portrayals. Collapse

      Excellent acting. Enjoyed the show. Thought the subject matter was provocative. If only redemption was more the norm in reality as it was in the show. Keep up the good work.
