Celebrate a Heron Holiday on the eve of the solstice, with chant, motets, and secular songs for Advent, Christmas, and New Year’s Day, by Du Fay, Binchois, Josquin, Obrecht, Brumel, Mouton, and an anonymous composer from the French court on the island of Cyprus.

      Attending the concert by the Blue Heron Rennaissance Choir was magical. The voices were like angels and the setting was near perfect for the event. I especially liked it when the lights were turned... Expand

      Attending the concert by the Blue Heron Rennaissance Choir was magical. The voices were like angels and the setting was near perfect for the event. I especially liked it when the lights were turned off and the church was lit by candlelight. I also heard most of the lecture that was given prior to the concert which was most interesting and a very nice addition to the evening. I was also delighted that there was free parking available in the University Garage. The only possible problem was the small amount of restrooms. All in all, it was a fabulous night! Collapse
