The Brookline Arts Center presents new work by Boston-based contemporary artist Joe Kitsch. Conceived by the artist exclusively for the Center, the installation fuses Kitsch’s pop iconography with visual mathematical elements to explore the often hidden ways in which math and science shape our world and the relationship between appearance and reality. Joe Kitsch is a Boston-based conceptually-oriented pop artist whose work has been shown throughout New England and New York City. His art explores the existential presence of less-than-tangible topics.
The opening reception, free to the public, is Friday August 6th, 6-8pm. You can visit the artist's website at http://www.joekitsch.com.
