One of the most celebrated string quartets of our time, Grammy-award winning Kronos Quartet will perform “Music Without Borders” at Northeastern University. The program is devoted to music from across the globe featuring works by Midhat Assem, and Alkesandra Vrebalov, Hanna Kulenty, and others. “This is a celebration of music as cultural expression and survival, and a journey to uncover what ultimately connects us in the face of an increasingly divided world,” said David Harrington, artistic director of Kronos Quartet. Kronos is one of the most celebrated and influential groups of our time, performing thousands of concerts worldwide, releasing more than 45 recordings of extraordinary breadth and creativity, and collaborating with an eclectic array of composers and performers from around the world.
