Whether the goal is to work on-camera or on-stage, the actor, like other artists, needs a dependable approach to creative work. To acquire it, intensive training and experience in performing are both essential. Michael Chekhov Actors Studio Boston invites you then to consider our 2010/2011 actor training programs, including: The Chekhov Training, The Meisner Foundation Training, and The Professional Actor Training Program. Our fall term begins September 13. We're ACCEPTING INQUIRIES AND APPLICATIONS NOW. Our training programs support our students’ ambitions to develop an individualized approach to creative inspiration and the art and craft of acting. Programs are structured as a series of one-month Intensives or Sessions that meet twice weekly and advance over the course of the year. While we strongly encourage an inner commitment to complete a chosen program, students are welcome to enroll on a month-to-month basis. Our programs and classes are intended for professional-minded actors. Because we hold that every actor has a unique talent, we value the actor’s dedication to learn and enthusiasm to play over prior acting experience. We commit to empower our students to free their innate talent and fire their professional development and personal growth. Our students, in turn, show up and train hard.
