    Presented by the teen company of Lyric First Stage, our summer intensive theatre program for young artists.

    Shakespeare’s Two Gentlemen of Verona explores the foolish behavior of couples in love. This new imagining places Shakespeare’s classic comedy in a vaudeville style. Best friends Valentine and Proteus, the two gentlemen of Verona, travel to Milan and learn about the world of courtship, but love for the same woman comes between them. Using the ploy of disguises, true love prevails and the friends are reconciled.
