The Commuter, an installation by Boston-based artist Karen Moss, exhibits her recognizable hybrid characters cavorting through imaginary landscapes. In this site-specific work, Moss' imagery sets up a comparison of the urban and the bucolic. Both scenes merging retro aesethics with the characterisitics of contemporary street art to depict the experiencce of popular culture in both metropoltan and rural environments.
