    J.R. Ringdahl's Solo Exhibition of his latest contemporary art works are a "visual feast."  His most recent series of abstract paintings are sensual interpretations of color and shape, enhanced by alternating layers of paint with thin coats of clear resin to create a sense of intrigue and mystery surrounding spatial relationships.  Rich colors, bold expressions, yet inviting compositions are a refinement of abstraction purist philosophy. The evolution of this seasoned, emergent painter is evident in the understated complexity that dominates the theme of all his art work.

          we went to the convention center and they hadn't heard of the exhibit.
