Lily Pad - 8/19/2010 Melissa Kassel – voice Tom Zicarelli – piano Phil Grenadier – trumpet Bruno Raberg - bass On 8/19, Melissa Kassel, Tom Zicarelli, Phil Grenadier and Bruno Raberg launch a series of performances at the Lily Pad - the 3rd Thursday of every month through the end of year. These shows will feature new music and guest artists in addition to the core group. The August performance will explore the color blue. The singing, soulful, honest, low-down, high-flying, way cool new blue side of the blues. And more. As Stu Vandermark wrote recently: “Melissa and her accomplices keep reaching, and they take us lucky people with them at the Lily Pad.”
