  This production takes the complex and potentially boring topic of crooked accounting and a warped corporate culture and turns it into gripping drama. Kudos especially go to Victor Shopov for playing Jeff Skilling, Enron's President, as being every bit as arrogant, unethical, and charismatic as he was in real life. For my money, Bill Salem, the actor playing Ken Lay, Enron's CEO, goes overboard and makes Lay seem too much like a cartoonish Texas yahoo. The cast is suprisingly large for a production on a relatively small stage, but the director uses the space effectively in both the larger and smaller scenes. In the wake of the ongoing financial crisis that is like Enron raised to the hundredth power, it's hard to imagine a more timely play. Be sure to catch this New England premier--at this ticket price, the show is a genuine bargain. Collapse
