Innovative cellist Matt Haimovitz, violinist Jonathan Crow and violist Douglas McNabney return for an evening of passionate musicality reaching beyond classical. One of the world’s most renowned cellists, Haimovitz made his debut in 1984 at the age of 13, as soloist with Zubin Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic. He has since gone on to perform on the world’s most esteemed stages, with such orchestras and conductors as the Berlin Philharmonic with James Levine, the New York Philharmonic with Zubin Mehta, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra with Leonard Slatkin. By championing new music and initiating groundbreaking collaborations within and beyond the classical domain, Matt Haimovitz is redefining what it means to be a classical artist for the 21st century.
