    Lori is an exceptional example of how some songwriters just naturally seem to find their way to the homespun sound of a strummed acoustic guitar, an honest voice and a touch of twang. Now with thousands of miles and gigs behind her, Lori has garnered comparisons to artists ranging from Natalie Maines (Dixie Chicks) and Patty Griffin, to Nanci Griffith, and Alanis Morissette. Many reviews of Faith Hill's latest CD, Fireflies, agree that the three best tracks ("Stealing Kisses," "If You Ask," and the title cut) came from one songwriter: Lori McKenna. Faith Hill's label, Warner Bros. Nashville, signed Lori in 2006 and re-released 2004's sweetly terrific Bittertown, followed by her critically acclaimed 2007 release Unglamorous. We are thrilled to welcome back Lori to TCAN for this special solo acoustic performance.
