Jamaica Plain, MA... Stonybrook Fine Arts announces their exciting Fall 2010 class schedule. Stonybrook Fine Arts offers small classes and workshops in a wide variety of sculptural media for teens and adults at their bustling location at 24 Porter Street, Jamaica Plain. From beginner to professional levels, students work with expert teachers to learn or enhance their skills in welding, bronze casting, moldmaking, small metal casting, ceramics and figure sculpture. Fall 2010 classes offered include: Welding - including a special "Ladies" welding course Jewelry Making Live Figure Molding Mold Making and Foundry Workshops offered this Fall include:" Make a Ring", "Electrolytic Etching", "Blacksmithing", "Carve/Cast a Pumpkin" and "Junk Percussion". Stonybrook Fine Arts is a proud Angel Sponsor for the 17th Annual Jamaica Plain Open Studios that takes place on September 25 and 26, 2001.
