The Concord Orchestra will open its 2010-2011 season with a tribute to Concord’s 375th anniversary. The featured work is Louisa’s War, a work for orchestra, women’s chorus, and narrator by Peter Child. Dr. Child, a professor at M.I.T., took the text for the piece from Louisa May Alcott’s Civil War era journals. The Concord Women’s Chorus will perform with the orchestra, and Joyce Kulhawik will narrate. Also...
