Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys are a musical alchemy, fingering the rabbit hole of performance art. With their toys and voices they create a death-folk, steamcrunk, organic-industrial experience. Award-winning film The Why, which features music by Walter Sickert, will also be shown. The Why draws from the evil tones of early Polanski, the inspired dialogue and linearity, while shocking the viewer with gritty vignettes of Hooper-like violence. Although it is more art house than horror, viewers are still caught in a metaphysical melange absent of love, absent of hate, and absent of reason.
