    Daryl Lowery Instant! Groove released its highly successful first recording in 2004 about which Jazziz magazine wrote "[Daryl Lowery and Instant!Groove] specialize in the funky soul-jazz grooves commonly referred to as "acid-jazz." ...The rhythm section is elastic, mid-tempo patterns aid excellent solos..." The ensemble features Dixie Dregs keyboardist T Lavitz (B3), Yoron Israel (drums), Rick Peckham (guitar), and Bruno Råberg (acoustic bass).
