Curated by Amy Brand, this exhibit features the artist as transmogrifier. Artists (Amy Ross, Deborah Brand, Yuko Adachi) display hyper-organic works that push the boundaries of biological design. Their paintings, watercolors, textiles, sculptures, and drawings are playful journeys of transformation — splicing species together, grafting living and machine-made, reasembling nature. With exuberance in color and shape, and some comic juxtaposition, they celebrate resilience and, collectively, render human delight in our environment and its adaptability.
