One Step Away CD Release Concert Hard Rock Cafe
September 19, 2010
One Step Away is releasing their new full length studio album: "For The Broken". They return to the Hard Rock Cafe to give their first Boston show after a summer of touring and recording. One Step Away, hailing from Boston Massachusetts, is the new rock/pop sensation. This award-winning group unlocks the magic of their original songs with engaging big stage performances. With passionate melodic vocals laden over precision riffs, One Step Away delivers a new perspective on modern rock.
The life of One Step Away began in 2006, when lead guitarist Terence Healy and bassist Mike Nuzzolo started playing together. Vocalist, Adam Carrington, joined them a year later, bringing a unique influence to the band's music with his classical voice training. In 2008, the band released a short self-recorded EP of their music, which brought the band much attention around the local music scene. Drummer Ben Trudeau rounded out the quartet, bringing a strong positive energy to the band along with a new sense of style and personality. Winning many competitions, performing on TV and big stages, the band gathered momentum with increasing crowd draw and excitement. Fueled by their growing popularity, the band began writing for their debut full-length album in the early part of 2010. Working with producers Dan Malsch and Alec Henninger of Soundmine Recording Studio (Forever the Sickest Kids, Framing Hanley, Four Year Strong, Bigwig, Tantric) for several months, One Step Away recorded their full length album "For the Broken”. The band took their album’s promotional shows across the country as far as Hollywood’s Universal Studios.
