    ”Structural Improvisations” by Jill Weber

Influenced by her architectural training, Weber uses geometric elements in her abstract compositions. She describes an architectural space and volume, while creating an illusion of depth with minimal means. The paintings themselves are approached as constructions. Development of surface and texture is important to the process. Matte and glazed surfaces are juxtaposed to contribute to a sense of light and transparency.

“Under Cover” by Bromfield Gallery artists

Exploring all the implications of what it means to be under cover—from espionage to painterly layering to the bedroom—this group show by Bromfield Gallery artists ranges from sculpture to prints to painting.
