    Music: Dimitri Shostakovich Choreographer: Alexei Ratmansky Starring: Anastasia Yatsenko and Andrei Merkuriev Shostakovich's second ballet BOLT brings together serious and popular music and dance. The first performance of THE BOLT in April 1931 at the Leningrad State Academy Theater of Opera and Ballet was also its last. The ballet was forbidden for 30 years.
