Lucie Brock-Broido has served as the director of the creative writing program at Harvard University and has also taught at Bennington College and Princeton University. She has received numerous awards for her poetry, including two National Endowment for the Arts fellowships, a Guggenheim, the Witter-Bynner Prize for Poetry, the Harvard Phi Beta Kappa Teaching Award, the Harvard-Danforth Award for Distinction in Teaching, and the Jerome J. Shestack Poetry Prize from American Poetry Review.
