The first J.P. story slam: “transported”

Storytelling: It's deeper than comedy and funnier than poetry. The theme of this storytelling competition is “transported.” 10 lucky tellers will have their names pulled out of the hat to tell kick-butt 5-minute personal stories about trying to get from point A to point B. Anyone wanting to tell, be part of a team of judges, or enjoy a night of serious and hilarious stories is hereby heartily urged to come.
 
"In the digital age, the raw power of live storytelling has never been more relevant," says Bella Luna’s general manager Carol Downs. “We are very excited to be hosting our first ever live storytelling series here at The Milky Way Lounge in conjunction with massmouth."   Seasoned hosts Robin Maxfield and H.R. Britton will keep the evening rolling along with special guests, and little surprises between performances. massmouth knows that everyone has stories to tell, and seeks to build audiences and community across Massachusetts by urging everyone to tell their stories. massmouth hosts story slams across Greater Boston three times a month. The winners from each of these slams will compete at the Big Mouthoff on April 26th for a fabulous prize. You have a story. Bring it.
