Friday, October 8 Dance Team Showcase “Hip-Hop at The Regent” To Present Inspiring Seasoned Professionals and Talented Youth In One Spectacular Evening of Performances Including Static Noyze from "America's Best Dance Crew,” Floorlords, and Many Others

On Friday, October 8, 2010 at 7:30pm, Dance Inn Productions will present a dynamic and eclectic dance extravaganza “Hip-Hop at The Regent” at The Regent Theatre in Arlington, Massachusetts. With a wide variety of entertaining dance teams—including Static Noyze, The Wondertwins, and Floorlords—all sharing a passion for hip-hop dance in its many styles, Hip-Hop at The Regent is sure to be a captivating show for all ages.

Featured act, Static Noyze—originally founded four years ago as a five person, all-male company—has since grown into mixed gender company with over 20 dancers ranging in age from 14 to 30, and, recently Static Noyze’s SN6 team was a featured finalist on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. "As the community, styles, and people have changed over time, so have we," says Static Noyze’s Executive Director. "We’re constantly developing as choreographers, performers, instructors, and do our best to share and contribute our skills, energy, and enthusiasm everywhere we can."

Also featured, The Legacy Dance Company—pre-professionals ranging in age from 12–18—will be performing exciting new work by local hip hop artist and Dance Inn faculty member Rony Jacques as well as a cutting edge jump rhythm jazz piece by Billy Siegenfeld, founder of the Jump Rhythm Jazz Project in Chicago.
