Whittier’s Saving the Health of the Community International Benefit Gospel Concert is a wonderful opportunity to bring our community together to enjoy fantastic music, honor a dynamic and inspiring leader and support Whittier’s wide range of health and social services.
This year’s honoree is Reverend Hurmon Hamilton of the Roxbury Presbyterian Church. Rev. Hamilton has made an indelible impact on our community and future generations. The Saving the Health of the Community International Benefit Gospel Concert will feature numerous outstanding local gospel performers and choirs from diverse backgrounds. Gospel music legend and Black Entertainment Television star, Dr. Bobby Jones, will be the guest host and will serve as Master of Ceremonies and Judge.
All proceeds from the event will go to support Whittier Street Health Center, 1125 Tremont Street Roxbury, MA.
