Haunted Happenings: Classes to Make You Ghoul
The Boston Center for Adult Education Introduces Spooky New Classes for all Halloween Enthusiasts!

Spooked by shadows on your walls, odd reflections in your mirrors, the cold brush of a hand that’s not really there? Trick or treat yourself this Halloween to a host of terrorrific classes at the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE). Get fangy, hunt for ghosts with paranormal experts, and satisfy your thirst for the phantasmagorical!

Gather your wits and hunt for ghosts—both friendly and not so—with Phantom or Fake: Ghost Hunting and Paranormal Theory. Learn the science behind ghost hunting, and the technology that can prove the sounds in your attic aren’t figments of your imagination!

What’s in the cards for you this year? With Mysticism and Magic: Reading the Tarot, you’ll learn the difference between the King of Swords and Knight of Wands, and you’ll come away with skills that’ll impress your friends with insights into their love or marriage!

Vamp out to the undead with Vampire Wines: Wine with a Bite. Be seduced by savory Merlot, Cabernet, Zinfandel and Syrah. All of the wines are to die for!

No Halloween is complete without a visit to historic Salem. Travel back in time with Ed Gordon, who’ll lead the Witch Way: A Cultural Tour of Salem. Learn about the infamous witchcraft trials while exploring other less-spooky sites including the Salem Maritime waterfront and author Nathaniel Hawthorne’s workplace during the 1840s. Ghouls aside, this class is great for those seeking a history lesson, as long as you leave before the sun sets!
