The Red Room at Cafe 939 is pleased to welcome Eisley, Ives the Band, and Christie Dupree October 27th, 2010. They will be hitting the stage at 8 p.m. for a fantastic evening of music.

Tyler, Texas quintet Eisley kicks off a seven-week Over the River and Through the Wood tour. After burgeoning on the Dallas scene in 2001, playing hundreds of shows throughout Texas and garnering a fan base as an indie band, Eisley was signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2003. The band won 'Best New Artist' from the Dallas Observer Music Awards in the same year. The band is currently finalizing plans to release its long-awaited third album following a separation from longtime label Warner/Reprise earlier this year. Eisley's latest LP release was 2007's Combinations, followed by the Fire Kites digital EP last year.

Hailing from California, Ives is a musical anomaly: four young musicians who perform music of strength and depth, with sweeping intellectual and emotional qualities. Musically, Ives culls its influences from all walks of life: pop, theatre, and conceptually oriented music of the past; yet, has one foot placed firmly in the future, looking towards new musical landscapes and expressions. Their newest release, The Incredible Story of Mr. Birch (produced by Kenny Riley of Studio 150 and Electric Lady Land Studios) is a tour through the imaginary world of a circus leader, Mr. Birch.

Christie DuPree, singer-songwriter from Texas, is the younger sister of the members of Eisley, and is currently working on her own solo projects. She made an appearance during various shows on Eisley's Combinations tour. She has previously worked with Wesley Jensen on both of his EPs and can be seen in the music video for Think I Wanna Die by Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin.

Tickets for this show are $15 and are currently on sale and can be purchased in advance at Ticketmaster.com or the Berklee Performance Center Box Office.
