Newton Open Studios is pleased to invite the public to our Juror Award Preview Exhibit, (through November 4th) at NewTV art gallery.

Lyrical wooden vessels, powerful photography, whimsical oil paintings, graceful jewelry, and fascinating sewn-fabric abstract works will all be on view. Admission is free. NewTV is located at 23 Needham Street (entrance is at the top of Easy St, next to National Lumber).

Join us there for a reception on October 22nd, from 6 to 8 pm, to meet artists, see the artwork and enjoy desserts and coffee courtesy of Lincoln Street Coffee.

This three-week show is a preview for our 2-day, 35 artist Juried Show and Sale, which will be held on November 6th and 7th, at the Newton Cultural Center (NCC), 225 Nevada Street, Newton. Admission is free to this show as well.

Our juror for both shows is Dina Deitsch, associate curator at Lincoln’s DeCordova Sculpture Park + Museum.

The Preview exhibit is open every day through November 4th: Monday through Thursday 10am to 9pm, Friday and Saturday 10am to 6m, and Sunday 12 to 6 pm.
