Part of the company’s 25th Anniversary Season, Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre’s Nutcracker is perfect for children of all ages. Choreographed by Artistic Director José Mateo, and inspired by Tchaikovsky’s glorious score, Mateo’s ‘Nutcracker’ brings Clara’s dream world to life with festive sets, sumptuous costumes, and spectacular dancing

My daughter, grandaughter and I enjoyed your performance of the Nutcracker. Although it is not as fancy as the Boston Ballet production it is a wonderful performance for children because the audience... Expand

My two girls (7) & (4) loved it. The had the opportunity to feel like they were at the Wang Theater and they could be kids and practice their dance moves and sing along without bothering the people... Expand

This is a good event for small children. The venue is big enough to be impressive but small enough to deliver good views. Many of the dancers were quite good but the choreography wasn't especially... Expand

Very enjoyable for us and our adult child guests. Not gimicky -- just rousingly fine dancing and some adorable kids on stage.
