    This year's Holiday Season runs December 8-26 and includes 37 pre- and post-Christmas evening and matinee concerts. The season also includes seven special kids' matinee concerts.

      We enjoyed the concert immensely, and found it fun to have a glass of wine while listening to the music. The evening really got us into the Christmas spirit.

      Loved attending the annual Holiday Pops. Noticed Keith Lockhart wasn't as energetic as usual, but otherwise, it was excellent and fun as usual!

      I recently attended a Pops Christmas Concert at Symphony Hall. This was the fourth year in a row that I went, so I guess it is becoming a new tradition. This time five friends who had never been to the Christmas Pops came with my husband and me. They were delighted. A bonus for me was that a lifelong friend who sings with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus was on stage the day I went. This was the first time she and I were there on the same day. The Chorus singers rotate so are not the same for every performance. You can be sure I will be sitting in the audience again next year. Collapse

      This is the first time that I ever attended the Holiday Pops. What an awesome experience! The music and the atmosphere were just wonderful. I hope to make this a family tradition.

      I love attending the Holiday Pops, and I try to attend every year. However, I would have given this 5 stars, but I didn't realize that this was one of the performances for the Holiday matinee. It would have been nice to have known that before the tickets were purchased, as I would have chosen a full performance instead of the shortened one. But all in all, a fantastic show! Collapse

      I have purchase many sets of tickets for various Arts & Theatre Events available to us in Boston. The success and enjoyment recieved from each event only serves as an incentive to search again for other events to attend. I no longer look anyplace else. What a savings alternative to Ticketmaster and all thier outrageous "service fees" charged per ticket. BosTix is a wonderful and economical way to support our Arts Community as well as our personal cultural enrichment. Thank you and keep the half price discounts coming; you are making arts affordable to all again. Collapse

      Another wonderful, glorious night at the Holiday Pops. The is our 8th time- and our second time ordering thru Bostix. At both Bostix performances- the seats were outstanding! Easy to pick up a will call too. We all loved seeing the traditional pops perfromance this year instead of one with a celebrity guest. While those are fun- there is something so special about seeing the regular show. They play everything you came to hear from the Alleluia Chorus to Sleigh Ride. This year's tribute to servicemen and women was especially touching- what a wonderful moment. My boys still love our annual night at the Pops- many thanks to Bostix for making it possible again with the amazing deal on tickets! Collapse

      I have been living in Greater Boston for nearly 40 years and I had never gone to the Holiday Pops. We attended an afternoon performance last week and it was magical. Oddly enough there weren't many children in attendance, but all the adults were feeling like they were young and lost in the magic that is the Pops and Christmas! Thanks to all. Collapse

      It was wonderful as usual. The holiday POPS always are a great way to start the holiday season. It was an extra treat to be able to get floor seats so we could have wine and cheese with our fun day.

      I was a little disappointed that they didn't perform the regular's Silent Night, Oh Come All Ye Faithful,White Christmas, etc,etc. Only 2 "sorta" sing alongs. I believe this was because it was an afternoon show which only lasted 1 hour. Collapse

      I knew we wouldn't sit front row with our half price tickets but we felt very lonely and disconnected in the back. Food and drinks seemed expensive to me - you couldn't get a glass of wine from the table service (only bottles) but you could get it from the bar yourself for an extra $2.50 service charge (why?). Symphony Hall is worth coming to, the sound is amazing and so are the choir and soloist. It seemed to go by very fast but they sang a lot of christmas song medleys and I wish they'd stuck with one song and finished it. I always wanted to go and I am glad I went, glad I paid only half price but I don't see myself going again for quite a few years. Collapse

      We saw the holiday pops for the first time ever and it was amazing. Simple songs become masterpieces under the direction of the BSO. The Tanglewood Chorus was angelic. Best of all we had great orchestra seats thanks to Arts Boston. It was a warm and stimulating experience. Thanks Art Boston for making it affordable! Collapse

      Another wonderful, glorious night at the Holiday Pops. The is our 8th time- and our second time ordering thru Bostix. At both Bostix performances- the seats were outstanding! Easy to pick up a will call too. We all loved seeing the traditional pops perfromance this year instead of one with a celebrity guest.       I knew we wouldn't sit front row with our half price tickets but we felt very lonely and disconnected in the back. Food and drinks seemed expensive to me - you couldn't get a glass of wine from the table service (only bottles) but you could get it from the bar yourself for an extra $2.50 service charge (why?).
