Local author, David Ira Rottenberg, will entertain children at the Borders Bookstore,on Boylston Street in Boston, on Saturday, Dec.4th by reading aloud his charming story "Gwendolyn, the Graceful Pig". Versatile ballerina, Kira Seamon, will perform her interpretation of the story through a fun dance performance during the reading.Come see her as she portrays all the characters in the story in her fully costumed 1-Woman performance. See 1) Gwendolyn, the cute pig that would like to learn to dance 2)Omar, Gwendolyn's football-playing pig friend who is friendly but CLUMSY! and 3) Natasha, the best ballet teacher in "ze vorld"! A short dance performance of selections from the Holiday favorite, the "Nutcracker", follows. Illustrated by Lesley Anderson, this story is perfect for children and the author reading and book signing is a perfect gift for the Holidays!
