November 16-December 19, 2010
Add Review/Comment
The exhibition explores the various artistic strategies employed by these four contemporary printmakers as they negotiate the artistic implications of the image/word spectrum. Literary references are drawn from poetry, history, philosophy, Native American culture, politics, and commerce. Through a large variety of printmaking techniques, the artists construct visual frameworks with feminist overtones that engage viewers aesthetically, emotionally, and intellectually. Guest curated by Kit Basquin. Opening Reception: Wednesday, November 17, 5:30-7:30pm. Curator Talk with Kit Basquin: Wednesday, November 17, 1-2pm. Exhibit runs from Tuesday, November 16 through Friday, December 19.
