Don’t miss the deal of the week at Gordon’s Fine Wines & Liquors is offering a special doubleheader wine tasting and dinner event. On November 4th, 2010 guests will have a chance to gain knowledge of elusive German wines and be the first to savor boutique wines that are just being introduced to the Massachusetts market. Attend Part I & II for a full night of VIP wine seminars and pairings. Get double the knowledge and double the wine experience for special discounted rate of only $45 per person!

Part I of the doubleheader, German Wines with Master Sommelier Laura Williamson will delight the senses with German Wine. Not commonly known as a forefront in the wine industry, Germany produces some of the world’s most underrated wines. As one of the foremost authorities on German Wines, and one of only 15 women to have earned the title Master Sommelier, Laura Williamson will remind you why an increasing number of high quality German wines are now finding their way across the Atlantic, recapturing the reputation they once possessed internationally.

After you have sampled some of Germany’s finest wines, continue on to Part II of the night, the Burgundy Dinner with Maison Champy Owner Pierre Meurgey. Pierre Meurgey, owner of the oldest winery in Burgundy, will appease to the sommelier in all of us, offering wines never before heard of in Massachusetts! To complement the obscure wines Chef Bryan Roof will prepare fare worthy of some of the highest scoring wines from the heart of Burgundy.
