Travel & Taste: Antarctic Odyssey
March 3, 2011
Add Review/Comment
The adventure starts from the tip of South America and mirrors Ernest Shackleton's Odyssey over a century ago. Ed traveled over 4000 miles by ship, kayak, zodiac and many miles on foot, exploring the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia Island and the Falkland Islands. Armed with an assortment of digital cameras, Ed created over 5000 still images and hours of video during his three week Antarctic Odyssey. His images include multiple species of penguins, flying birds, whales, dolphins and seals as these diverse, long distance travelers journey around the land and seascapes of Antarctica. A portion of the program will also be presented in 3D video. Location-themed buffet dinner and lecture or lecture only. Pre-registration required for dinner.
