Real Vocal String Quartet is the unconventioonal strings+vocal quartet from San Francisco Bay Area. RVSQ thrills audiences with passionate, virtuosic performances of ear-catching originals, brilliantly conceived arrangements (Regina Spektor, Paul Simon, Ayub Ogada, Pixinguinha), and a genre-busting mix of traditional, classical, and contemporary influences.
Matt Glaser is the Artistic Director of the American Roots Music Program at the Berklee College of Music. He has performed widely in a variety of idioms ranging from jazz to bluegrass to early music.
