    The Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP) is in residence at Wellesley College for the 2010-2011 academic year. BMOP is dedicated to commissioning, performing, and recording new orchestral music. Throughout the year, musicians of this premier orchestra will interact with music department student performers, composers, and music historians, teaching master classes, coaching ensembles, and visiting classrooms. They will offer the College and the wider community three free public performances.

    Pre-concert talk with composer Martin Brody / 7:00 PM

    Music by Wayne Peterson, Milton Babbitt, and the world premiere of Touching Bottom by Wellesley College faculty member Martin Brody.
