    The Italian pianist Antonio Pompa-Baldi was catapulted into prominence by winning the Gold Medal in the Cleveland International Competition and Silver Medal in the 2001 Van Cliburn Competition. Since then the refined virtuoso has triumphed on four continents and regularly appears in recital and with major orchestras and conductors. His critically acclaimed recordings include the complete works of Edvard Grieg on 11 CDs. Michael Lewin, artistic director.
